Youth programs and babysitting will be offered on both days of Rosh Hashanah from 9:30
am to1:00 pm, and on Kol Nidre night from 6:00 pm to 8:30 pm, and on Yom Kippur day
from 9:30 am to 1:30 pm.

In order to ensure that the number of babysitters is sufficient to safely care for the children, you must sign up in advance.  The registration sheet is included below, and the final deadline to sign up is Friday, September 3rd. Please fill out the form and return it to the synagogue office with your payment.

Tsila Sloane is welcoming adult volunteers (whether you have children
participating in the program or not). Here's how you can help:

1. Volunteer to lead an activity. Although the programs will be staffed by a full
complement of qualified babysitters, only we can provide the kids with content
related to Torah and the chagim. You can read a story, sing some songs, run a
scavenger hunt or trivia game... whatever you like!  If you need ideas, just ask!

2. Volunteer to supervise. If you don't want to lead an activity, but still want to
help out and experience the chagim with our children, please sign up to help
supervise the proceedings. We'll be asking for volunteers in 1/2-hour time
slots.

3. Help us find "CITs." If your kids are too old to be 'babysat', but too young to
sit in shul for the whole davening, they can be CITs, playing games with the
littlest kids, helping to prepare snacks, and implementing programs.

4. Plan or lead a short High Holiday kid's davening. We are looking for ways to
enhance the davening experience for our 2nd through 4th graders. If you know
some fun tunes for the High Holiday liturgy, or have ideas about tefillot for kids
this age, please contact me! This would be an ideal task for college students
home for the chagim.

5. Help us find babysitters. Do you know non-Jewish babysitters who will be
available on the chagim?  If so, please give them the email address and ask them to write to me.  If you have any questions, suggestions for programming,
or want to share your input in any way, please contact Tsila Sloane at
